Rolling advertisement for a JRF position under ISRO RESPOND project

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for a temporary position to work at DA-IICT on a ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) sponsored research project financed by the Department of Space (DOS, GoI), India. The project details, requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

Title of the Project: Satellite Network Simulator with ULPC and ACM features

Position and Fellowship Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 1 post
Rs. 31,000/- p.m. + 24% HRA
Essential Qualification
  • M.Tech (Computer Science/ICT/Electronics & Communication) or Equivalent with 60% marks and with GATE qualification, OR
  • B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, ICT or Equivalent with 60% marks and with GATE qualification.
Desirable Qualification
  • Expertise in Python programming, graphical user interface development in Python and event-driven simulation development in Python
  • Expertise in Matlab.
Period of appointment: This post is purely temporary for a duration of nine months. It would, therefore, not confer any right for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in DA-IICT. However, the selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for the PhD program of DA-IICT as per the available guidelines.
Job Description The development of a software tool in Python using the discrete event system simulation approach and its application to the satellite and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems.
