Calling academicians, industry professionals, and Ph.D. scholars in IR and NLP to attend a global conference at DA-IICT

Venue: DA-IICT, Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Dates: 12th - 15th December 2024

DA-IICT will be hosting the 16th edition of the Forum for Information Retrieval Evaluation (FIRE), a global conference at its campus from December 12-15, 2024. This premier event will bring together researchers from academia and industry to explore cutting-edge topics in multilingual information retrieval, large-scale evaluation frameworks, and natural language processing. This year, FIRE 2024 will feature peer-reviewed research tracks, shared tasks, an industry track, and a doctoral consortium.

If you are a faculty, student, or professional working in the areas of IR and NLP, you may register and join the forum for insightful discussions, collaborative research opportunities, interaction, and networking with global experts.

All the students presenting a paper, participating in any of the tracks or attending FIRE 2024 are eligible to apply for ACM SIGIR student travel grant of up to a maximum of 5000 INR. The deadline for application is 12th November and the applicants shall be notified about the decision by 18th November.
