JD: Assistant Manager / Manager – Continuing Education Programs

We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead industry outreach and program execution for our Continuing Education initiatives. The role involves connecting with senior leaders across industries (information technology, finance, insurance, manufacturing, agriculture, automotive, etc.) to promote information technology and artificial intelligence/machine learning-driven training programs, securing corporate nominations, and managing end-to-end delivery of workshops and executive training.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Industry Outreach & Business Development
- Build and maintain relationships with senior industry professionals.
- Promote information technology and artificial intelligence/machine learning training programs to corporate clients.
- Identify training needs and propose suitable 1-day to week-long workshops.
- Pitch offerings, secure nominations, and develop partnerships with HR/learning and development teams.
2. Program Planning & Operations
- Coordinate with faculty, schedule sessions, and manage program logistics.
- Ensure classrooms, labs, IT tools, and resources are ready for training.
- Handle participant communication, registration, certificates, and feedback.
- Manage budgets, invoicing, and financial reporting.
3. Program Development & Insights
- Track emerging tech trends (artificial intelligence/machine learning, analytics, automation).
- Recommend new program ideas based on industry needs.
- Prepare marketing materials, proposals, and post-program reports.
Required Skills:
- Understanding of information technology and emerging technologies (artificial intelligence/machine learning preferred).
- Strong communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage with CXOs, HR Heads, and senior managers.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Experience in corporate training, business development, EdTech, or academic administration is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA, MSc IT/CS, PGDM) preferred.
- 5-9 years (Assistant Manager) or 10+ years (Manager) experience in business development, corporate relations, or program management.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
