Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates with good academic records for a full-time, fixed-term Research Fellow position with the Smart Energy Learning Centre (SELC) at the Dhirubhai Ambani University (Formerly DAIICT), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. The project details, requisite qualifications, and experience are as follows.

Project Title: Optimal Flash Charger Placement and Scheduling for Electric Bus Fleets
Investigators: Sanjay Srivastava and Manish Chaturvedi
Position and Fellowship: Research Fellow - 1 position
INR 45,000 per month
Eligibility Requirements
Essential Qualification:
  • B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Computer/Mathematics and Computing/ICT/ Electronics and Communication/Electrical/relevant discipline
    OR
  • M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent in Computer/Mathematics and Computing/ICT/ Electronics and Communication/ Electrical/relevant discipline
Desirable Skills:
  • Ability to learn new tools/technologies.
  • Programming; Basic understanding of algorithm design, optimization, and data analytics.
  • Basic knowledge of simulation scenario design - familiarity with Simulation of Urban MObility (SUMO) will be an advantage.
Upper age limit: 35 Years as on the last date of application
Period of Appointment: This is a temporary position for up to 18 months, with an initial appointment for one year that may be extended based on satisfactory performance. This does not confer any right for the candidate to claim an extension or absorption at Dhirubhai Ambani University. However, the selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for the PhD program at the university, subject to the prevailing guidelines and admission policy.
