JRF Position on DRDO Sponsored Project (closing date: 7 January 2023)

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Positions to work at DA-IICT on a Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR) - Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) sponsored research project. The project details, requisite qualification &experience etc. are given below.

Title of the Project: Vulnerability Research on QUIC Implementations

Duration 18 months
Position Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 post
Fellowship Rs. 31000 per month + 15% HRA
Essential Qualification

ME/MTech (CSE/ICT) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks and with valid GATE qualification.

OR

BE/BTech in (CSE/ICT) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks and with valid GATE qualification.

Desirable Qualification
  • Expertise in Java programming
  • Knowledge and prior experience in testing/debugging
  • Understanding of software vulnerabilities
  • Understanding of security protocols
Period of Appointment

This post is purely temporary. It would, therefore, not confer any right for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in DA-IICT.

Appointment will be made initially for 5 months and is further extendable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

The selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for the PhD program of DA-IICT as per the available guidelines.

Job Description The development of evaluation tools for vulnerability research on QUIC libraries or implementations.
Other Benefits The project also supportsfor attending Conferences, Workshops etc. within India. The position is based at DA-IICTGandhinagar, Gujarat but travel to DRDO and other institutionsmay be required.
