About the Speaker:

Dr. Rajesh P. Khambayat

Dr. Rajesh P. Khambayat is a Fulbright Scholar (2014) and currently serves as Professor in the Department of Technical & Vocational Education and Research (DTVER) at the National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal. He previously held the position of Joint Director at the PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), NCERT, New Delhi (2017–2022).

Dr. Khambayat has extensive national and international experience in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). He has worked as an Individual Consultant with leading international organizations including UNESCO (Bangkok), UNESCO-UNEVOC (Bonn), and the Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA) under the Commonwealth of Learning, Canada. He also served as an International Specialist for an ADB-funded TVET project in Cambodia and as an International Faculty Consultant at the Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC), Manila.

A Certified International Accreditor (APACC), Dr. Khambayat has collaborated with organizations such as COL, UNESCO-UNEVOC, CPSC, KRIVET, and GIZ. His achievements include the Green Skills International Award (2021), Innovative Trainers’ Award (ISTD, 2021), and the Meritorious Service Award (2012) for outstanding contributions to TVET.
