Executive - HR
Position Reports: Head – HR & Admin Job Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat
Main Purpose:
The Executive-HR at DAU will provide essential support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth HR operations across the university. This role involves handling a variety of HR tasks, including faculty and staff recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining personnel records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for contributing to the academic community.

Job Responsibilities:
The selected candidate's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Faculty and Staff Recruitment:
- Assist in coordinating recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Support the hiring process by conducting reference checks and background verifications.
- Collaborate with academic departments to ensure timely and effective recruitment of faculty and staff.
2. Onboarding and Orientation:
- Prepare and process onboarding paperwork for new hires.
- Facilitate orientation sessions for new faculty and staff members.
3. Employee Records Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files for all faculty and staff.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and legal requirements in record-keeping.
- Manage HRIS and update employee information as needed.
4. Insurance Administration:
- Assist faculty and staff with insurance enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Coordinate with insurance providers and ensure timely communication of benefits information.
- Support the annual insurance renewal and open enrollment process.
5. Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for HR-related queries from faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Support HR initiatives aimed at enhancing faculty and staff engagement and satisfaction.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and concerns in collaboration with the Assistant Manager-HR.
6. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to university policies and legal regulations in all HR processes.
- Assist with audits and ensure the university’s HR practices meet regulatory standards.
7. General HR Support:
- Provide administrative support for the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and handling correspondence.
