Advertisement for a JRF Position under DST-SERB Robotics Project

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for a temporary position to work at DA-IICT, Gandhinagar, Gujarat on a sponsored research project funded by under DST-SERB, Govt. of India sponsored Core Research Grant (CRG). The project details, requisite qualification & experience etc., are given below:

Title of the Project: Development of Robotic Computing Accelerator

Position and Fellowship Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 post
Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA
Essential Qualifications
  • ME/MTech (Electronics & Communication/ ICT/Electrical/Computer Science and Engineering) or Equivalent with 60% marks.
  • OR
  • MSc in Electronics/Physics with Specialization in Electronics with 60% marks.
  • CSIR-UGC NET/ GATE qualified. Criteria may be relaxed for deserving candidates.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Programming in C, Python, Verilog/VHDL
  • Linux, Robot Operating System (ROS)
  • Familiar with FPGA/SoC Devices
  • Experience of design, evaluation, and customer negotiation
Period of Appointment: Initially for one year (renewable for additional one year subject to satisfactory performance). This post is purely temporary. It would, therefore, not confer any right for any candidate for claiming further extension or absorption in DA-IICT. However, the selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for the PhD program of DA-IICT as per the available guidelines.
Job Description
  • You will be in-charge of FPGA based robotics technology development which includes software/hardware interfacing, robotics physics, SLAM and navigation for industrial applications.
