Advertisement for a JRF Position under NBHM Research Project

Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates with good academic records for a full-time, fixed-term Research Fellow position at School of Technology (SOT), Dhirubhai Ambani University (Formerly DAIICT), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. The project details, requisite qualifications, and experience are as follows.

Project Title Applications of commuting graphs to study the centralizers of non-abelian groups.
Position and Fellowship

Junior Research Fellow – 1 post
@ Rs. 37000/ p.m. for first two years and @ Rs. 42000/p.m. for third year.

Eligibility Requirements
Essential Qualifications Applicants must possess an M.Sc. degree in Mathematics, or in a closely related discipline, with a minimum of 70% aggregate marks (or an equivalent grade).
Desirable Qualifications
  • NET (National Eligibility Test)
  • NBHM (National Board for Higher Mathematics) Scholarship/Exam
  • GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)
  • Experience with SAGE Math programming.
Period of Appointment This position is temporary, with an initial appointment for one year, and it is extendable for up to two more years based on satisfactory performance and availability of funds from the funding agency. This does not confer any right for the candidate to claim an extension or absorption at SOT, Dhirubhai Ambani University (Formerly DAIICT).
Upper Age 30 Years as on the date of Application.
