Dhirubhai Ambani University (DAU) celebrated its Silver Jubilee with a grand Alumni Reunion exclusively for the founding batches of 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 on 27 and 28 December 2025 at its campus. Marking 25 years of excellence in education, research, and innovation, the two-day event reunited these pioneering alumni with faculty members, university leadership, and staff in an atmosphere filled with nostalgia, pride, and heartfelt reconnection.

Envisioned as an immersive homecoming rather than a formal event, the Silver Jubilee Celebrations & Alumni Reunion allowed alumni to relive their student life while witnessing the University’s growth and evolution. The evergreen DAU campus came alive with conversations, laughter, and shared memories as former students returned to the place where their professional journeys had begun.

The celebrations commenced on Day 1 with the Gateway to Reunion and Welcome Kit Distribution, where alumni were warmly received by volunteers. This was followed by “Faces of Legacy – Alumni Introduction, a session that highlighted the diversity and achievements of the alumni community and reinforced their enduring bond with the University. The formal proceedings featured inspiring addresses by the Director General and the Director, School of Technology, who reflected on DAU’s 25-year journey, its academic achievements, and the vital role alumni have played in shaping the institution’s legacy. A Nostalgia Video Showcase, featuring archival visuals and memorable campus moments, evoked heartfelt emotions and fond reminiscences among attendees.

The day continued with a Mock Classroom Session led by Prof. RN Biswas, Former Faculty, DAU, which rekindled the mentor–student bond through lively discussions and cherished anecdotes. This was followed by an extended interactive session between the alumni and the Placement Office, where alumni shared valuable professional insights, industry trends, and career guidance in rapid-fire and fireside chat formats, strengthening the culture of mentorship. The first day concluded on a celebratory note at the Open Air Theatre (OAT) with a Cultural Evening, movie screening, and bonfire, promoting relaxed conversations and renewed camaraderie under the stars.

Day 2 began with Bird Watching and a Campus Walk, offering a serene start and an opportunity to revisit iconic campus spaces. The Memory Wall Activity enabled alumni to leave behind messages, reflections, and photographs, collectively narrating shared experiences across generations. The celebrations continued at the Sports Arena with sports events and fun games, including volleyball, cricket, indoor games, and the much-anticipated Alumni vs Faculty Cricket Match, which added energy and friendly competition to the day. The reunion concluded with a Closing Ceremony and Farewell Glow, where the success of the celebrations was acknowledged, and gratitude was expressed to all contributors. Alumni were encouraged to stay engaged with the University through future initiatives and collaborations.
