Sujay Kadam is an Assistant Professor in DA-IICT. Prior to his joining at DA-IICT he was a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, NIT Sikkim. NIT Sikkim. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Mechanical Engineering, working with Prof. Harish Palanthandalam-Madapusi, and was associated with the SysIDEA Robotics Lab at IIT Gandhinagar, prior to his teaching appointments, where he worked on ‘learning controllers that show ‘human-like’ learning characteristics. He completed his doctoral work in control theory with a thesis on “Right Invertibility and Relative Degree in Tracking Control: Theory and Tools”, under the supervision of Prof. Harish Palanthandalam-Madapusi at IIT Gandhinagar in Electrical Engineering. He has a background in Instrumentation and Control from his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. His current work and interests focus on the intersecting areas of Control, Neuroscience, and Robotics.
