Dhirubhai Ambani University (DAU) was recently invited to the Academia & Industry Connect meeting hosted by Colgate Global Business Services (CGBS) Pvt Ltd on November 12, 2025. It was one of the esteemed academic institutions to receive the invitation.

The Connect helped highlight and understand how recruiting partners like DAU are contributing to the overall campus programme at CGBS and to understand the academia and early career talent being nurtured on campus.

The meeting was held in the presence of the CGBS Leadership Team including Jules Andrew, Chief Business Services Officer, Stanley Robinson, Vice President Finance CBS Mumbai & GPO, Maninder Grewal, Senior Director CBS Global Data & Analytics and Prafulla Bargaje, Senior Director HR. The team also had a discussion on the emerging educational and industry trends.

DAU's perspective was highly valued in this discussion, which is set to strengthen the association between the two organisations. DAU was also felicitated for being a long-standing partner of CGBS. Representing DAU were Dr G Venkatesh, Director, School of Technology, and Mr Souvik Sarkar, Head - Career Planning, Placement and Marketing. Their participation opened avenues for future collaborations, aligning DAU's vision with evolving industry needs and ensuring the equipping of students with the skills and perspective required for tomorrow's challenges.

DAU officials also met Ms Nidhi Somaiya (Batch of 2022-2024), during this visit to Colgate Global Business Services Pvt Ltd.
