JRF Opening under sponsored research project financed by Space Applications Center-ISRO Ahmedabad under RAC-S scheme

Applications are invited from motivated candidates with good academic records for JRF position to work at DA-IICT on sponsored research project financed by “Space Applications Center-ISRO Ahmedabad under RAC-S scheme. The project details, requisite qualifications, and experience are as follows.

Title of the Project: Design, fabrication, validation and characterization of a low noise, high speed, high voltage analogue/mixed signal (AMS) bias driver ASIC for imaging photon sensors devices.

Position and Fellowship

Junior Research Fellow – 1 post
INR Rs. 37,000/- p.m. + 27% HRA
Eligibility Requirements
Essential Qualifications
  • M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / ICT Engineering, with at least 60% marks. Preference may be given to GATE-qualified candidates or those with research/industry experience.
  • OR, B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / ICT Engineering, with at least 60% marks. Preference may be given to GATE-qualified candidates or those with research/industry experience.
  • OR, M.Sc. in Electronics with at least 60% marks. Preference may be given to candidates qualified through CSIR-UGC NET or IIT JAM, and those with industrial/ research experience.
  • Deep understanding of Digital and Analog circuit design.
  • Good knowledge of circuit simulators, Cadence preferred.
  • Strong command of oral and written English
Desirable Qualifications
  • Prior experience in working with Analog and Digital Circuits, Chip / ASIC design.
  • Strong background in device physics, semiconductor and electronics.
Period of Appointment: This position is temporary, with an initial appointment for one year, and it is extendable based on satisfactory performance. This does not confer any right for the candidate to claim an extension or absorption at DA-IICT. However, according to the available guidelines, the selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for the Ph.D. program at DA-IICT.
