Interactive Workshop on “Design Thinking & AI”

The Continuing Education Program (CEP) at DAIICT conducted a custom-designed ,interactive workshop on “Design Thinking & AI” for Orbrick Consulting Private Limited , a consulting organisation that is focussed on digital transformation of businesses. The workshop focused on how to support businesses through the dual concepts of Design thinking and systems Thinking. The workshop provided practical techniques for businesses to understand fundamental capabilities of AI technologies and their potential use in business cases, ultimately allowing them to create more seamless, impactful, and client-centric solutions in the AI-driven landscape. Participants worked on reframing business problems and ideating fresh solutions, and were encouraged to prototype and quickly test these ideas, ensuring faster validation and refinement. Additionally, by viewing challenges from a systems perspective, they learnt how businesses can identify opportunities to reduce friction and accelerate adoption, improving both user experience and market acceptance. The workshop was led by Prof. Dhaval Joshi, Adjunct Faculty at DAIICT and founder of SIMULABS. Additionally, there were engaging sessions related to Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Statistics led by Prof. RACHIT CHHAYA, Prof. Sourish Dasgupta, Prof. Tathagata Bandyopadhyay and Prof. Manish Kumar
